A Melody of Love
Elton Roth
I have a song that Jesus gave me,
It was sent from heaven above;
There never was a sweeter melody -
'Tis a melody of love.
There never was a sweeter melody -
'Tis a melody of love.
Chorus:
In my heart there rings a melody,
There rings a melody with heaven's harmony:
In my heart there rings a melody,
There rings a melody of love!
In my heart there rings a melody,
There rings a melody with heaven's harmony:
In my heart there rings a melody,
There rings a melody of love!
I love the Christ who died on Calvary,
For He washed my sins away;
He put within my heart a melody
And I know it's there to stay.
He put within my heart a melody
And I know it's there to stay.
'Twill be my endless theme in glory,
With the angels I will sing;
'Twill be a song with glorious harmony
When the courts of heaven ring.
With the angels I will sing;
'Twill be a song with glorious harmony
When the courts of heaven ring.
In my heart there rings a melody,
There rings a melody with heaven's harmony;
In my heart there rings a melody,
There rings a melody of love!
There rings a melody with heaven's harmony;
In my heart there rings a melody,
There rings a melody of love!
Oh Vicki! Thanks for sharing this wonderful song. It is one of my favorite hymns. There truly was never a sweeter melody, than that melody of HIS love. :D
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful evening and week my friend!
Love in Christ,

Hello, Vicki, :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a very sweet song. I like the chorus and second verse best. Just beautiful.
I just thought I'd stop by and let you know that I didn't mind at all that you replied under my comment. That must be frustrating when you can't get something to work, though. :)
Any how, I hope you are having a wonderful day!
In Christ's Service,
Sarah
