Look out, I'm weird tonight

I only got 3.5 hours of sleep last night because I was trying to finish a paper that was due this morning ... and it's been a weird day.

- I nearly exploded my bottle of Mello Yello at "breakfast" in the science building ... it just geysered up my sleeves. Oh yes, and blew out a big puddle of fizzy liquid all over the bench and the wall and the floor behind it. It was kind of like a green volcano.

- Half an hour later, I fell into a semi-sleeping state in my small, intimate human development class ... multiple times ... I'm sure the professor noticed. I'm starting to get embarrassed at myself for falling asleep in class - no one would guess that I'm actually a dedicated, passionate student. That's upsetting.

- I had to blast loud music all through my work hours today to keep from falling asleep at my desk. Of course, my definition of "loud music" generally consists of John Rutter playing at 400 decibels. No, it doesn't work very well.

- I have never giggled that much in my late-afternoon Spanish class before. I hope I didn't freak out my study partners too badly ...

- And then, oddly enough, I found that one of my friends had had exactly the same amount (or lack) of sleep as I had. Three-and-a-half hours. How often does that happen?

Off to do homework, so I can go to bed ...

Love,
Vicki

  1. Sounds like a crazy day!
Hope you get more sleep tonight!

I think I would like a picture of Cary Grant on my button because he's my favorite actor!

    Thanks so Much! :)
