My Mission

My Mission

***

To Heal

I will use my power as a medical professional to heal the broken bodies of those who come to me for help, specifically to give voices to those who have none.

I will use my power as a Christian to help the broken-hearted, the forsaken, the despairing, and the heart-wounded to find true healing in the Lord Jesus Christ.

"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute." ~ Proverbs 31:8 NIV

***

To Teach

I will bring the words of the Bible to every place and every person I am directed by the Lord Jesus Christ, teaching them to follow Him with all their hearts and lean on Him for every need.

I will give freely to others of the knowledge that the Lord gives to me, so that I can make people's lives better, easier, and more pleasant.

I will pray every day that my life serves as an example to others, that they may learn about the Lord from the way I live my life.

Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.  ~ 2 Timothy 4:2 NKJV

***

To Feed

I will give of my money, my food, my time, my thoughts, and my heart to satisfy the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of others to the best of my ability.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.  ~ Proverbs 11:30 KJV

***

To Nurture

I will pray every day for a gentle, ladylike and quiet spirit that ministers to those around me in a loving and nurturing way.

I will do my best to always help and support those around me in achieving their God-given goals and dreams, even at the expense of my own.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.  ~ James 3:17 KJV

***

To Encourage

I will do my best to have a positive and uplifting outlook in every situation, even when I feel unhappy and would rather receive encouragement than give it.

I will rely on the Holy Spirit and the encouragement of the Bible to always shine the Lord's light into the lives of other people.

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.  ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:11 NIV

***

To Protect

I will defend the life, health, safety, and well-being of those entrusted to my care at any cost, including my life.

I will always do my best to guard the spiritual health of my family and friends by putting their needs ahead of my own and making sure that I do not place any obstacles along their spiritual journeys.

"Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails ..."  ~ 1 Corinthians 13:6-8a NIV

***

To Rescue

I will always try to go out of my safety or comfort zone to reach out to those who are in physical or spiritual danger, regardless of cost to myself.

And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.  ~ Jude 1:22-23 KJV

***

To Make Peace

I will always seek the road of peace - while not compromising or backing down on my convictions, I will never fight or strive with anyone in a non-Christlike manner.

I will always try to exhibit grace and love in my speech and actions, never intentionally insulting or harming another person.

I will always seek to follow the nonresistant example of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.  ~ Matthew 5:9 KJV
