A Word of Encouragement



I actually broke down in public and wept when I came across this video - it might be a little silly, but having Mr. Rogers say he was proud of me was exactly what I needed. This is especially for those of you who loved him growing up, like I did!

    Dear sister Vicki, so good to know you through your profile on the blogger. I am also glad to know about your faith, mission and life style. I was glad to stop by your blog "Sundshine and Shadow" and the post on it of dated 20th April 2013. I was so encouraged by your post. Though I could not hear Bro. Rogers but I can know the spirit behind it which has encouraged you so much and you in turn becoming encouragement to others. I am also so blessed by your Mission: To Heal, Teach,Feed, Nurture,Encourage,Protect, Rescue and Make peace.
    Sister Vicki, we have a real ministry for you if you come on a short term missions trip to work with us in the slums of Mumbai, India, bringing healing to the broken hearted and give them new life, future , purpose and hope to their lives.       Thank you so much for taking the time to come by my blog! I was surprised and moved by your request for me to come to India - that's not a request that I receive every day! I am humbled to know that my testimony is an encouragement to you, and I am honored by your kind words and amazing invitation.

      I will certainly keep your words in mind as I complete my college training and begin looking for a place to use my skills for the Lord. May He continue to bless you and your work!
