Hello everybody! We've had RAIN - so much beautiful, glorious, cold, drenching rain!!  I can't even describe to you how wonderful it was to watch those hard pelting drops soaking into the thirsty gray dirt and parched brown grass - rain so heavy that you couldn't see through it, just a bright gray misty curtain of showers. It was so wonderful!!

And today I feel like the whole world is just bursting with energy. The humidity was way down today, and it only got up to 75 degrees; so everything was bright cerulean and green and yellow and white, and the north wind was streaming right over my face like cold water. It was just a fabulous day! Praise the Lord for the RAIN!!

Anyhow ... hello.  :-)  And how has your week been? Mine has been very busy - last weekend, we went on a lovely day trip from which I keep meaning to put up pictures; but mostly, I've been scrambling around trying to figure out what all I need to do to get ready for school in just over a week - do I need new clothes? Do I need a new computer? Should I just wait and see? What about transportation, study breaks, textbooks, student organizations? 

I didn't think about any of those things last year because I didn't really know what to expect, and this year I feel like I'm overthinking everything. I also have a lot of work to do in helping my younger siblings get ready for their very first semesters at the four-year college. How much fun will it be to have my brother and sister on campus with me?  :-D

I'm also knitting some lovely mitts for myself for winter, deciding whether I want a new hairstyle to go back to school, working hard at my two jobs, and trying to stay out of my sister's way as she renovates our room.  :-)

I'd better head for bed before all my energy burns out and leaves me completely uncreative tomorrow ... I'll try to get our day-trip pictures up this weekend, because I think you'll like them!!
