This week is what they call "dead week."
I always thought that they called it "dead week" because classes are "dead" - as in, we don't have any tests or quizzes this week and class time is mostly review for finals next week.
Um ... I was wrong.
They call it "dead week" because you are quite dead through most of the week.
I worked for 7 hours on one paper yesterday without finishing it; tonight I have to finish my statistics homework, which is due online at 11:55PM; I have a 10-page paper due on Friday for which I haven't even decided on a topic yet; I have had a headache all day and not felt well; and now I'm writing and making myself cry by listening to old 1980's and 1990's Sesame Street songs.
Dead week. Now I understand.
But at least the end is near!!! Finals next week and then it's SUMMER!! :-D :-D :-D
