Because He Lives

Because the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead:

- I have power that nothing in heaven, earth or hell can conquer. He won the victory over death itself.

- I am a brand-new creation. My old self died with Him, and my new self rose with Him out of the grave.

- I am free from the bondage of sin and the world; for those chains went to the grave with Him. I no longer have to submit to any authority that does not come from God Himself.

- I have a God Who lives and walks with me every day. I don't worship a dead idol or a departed teacher; my God is greater than the forces of death and He lives forever.

- I have the promise that, while my body may submit to death for a while, my soul will never die; and my body will be raised again and glorified one day.

- I know that my resurrected Lord will come and bring me home with Him forever!

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing!  ~ Revelation 5:12
