This was an odd day.
- I showed up for my Spanish class at the right time ... and then realized that I was supposed to be at statistics, when I realized that I didn't recognize any of my "classmates."
- I then proceeded to fall asleep in statistics class.
- I was so surprised by one of my coworkers (a curly-headed dude from Western Europe ... yes, really) that I ran smack into a stairwell door ... which I tried to open as he stared at me, and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't open.
- I then realized that the stairwell door was a locked closet door.
- I fled around the corner and found the real stairwell ...
- ... and proceeded to trip over the long equipment cord I was carrying and skin my thumb on the concrete steps. I know - who skins their thumb?
Time to go have that good laugh and long sleep ...

Oi! I dislike weird days - and really I'VE NEVER HEARD OF A SKINNED THUMB!!! It must HURT!!! I hope it feels better soon!
