No wound? No scar?

 No wound? No scar?

Yet, as the Master shall the servant be,
And pierced are the feet that follow Me:

But thine are whole:
Can he have followed far
Who hath no wound nor scar?

The movie quote quiz is over, and I'll be posting the results this week.  :-)  Thank you so much for playing!

From here on out, though, I want to quit with the gimmicks and get back to blogging about what's real and important ... I'd like you to help me stay accountable on that, too. It's easy (maybe not for everybody, but for me) to fall into blogging about silly and frivolous stuff - movies, hobbies, cute puppies. You know.  :-)  But there's one thing in the whole world that we need to talk about all the time, and that's the Gospel.

Do any of you ever find it hard to keep your focus on the important things? I feel so ADD sometimes when I read other people's blogs, because y'all sound so serious and spiritual most of the time; but as for me, I try to look up a Bible verse, and 20 minutes later I find myself on a YouTube video of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Or a Pinterest board full of cute baby polar bears. Not edifying or life-building stuff.

Tomorrow's Monday morning and this blog is getting serious!

Love,
Vicki

  1. Hi Vickie!

I just thought I would stop by and say hello and thanks for following my blog! I loved your "about me" page . . . I thought I was the only one who loves classical music AND reminences over Star Trek, the beauty of an old down-town AND the scene of a barbed-wire fence lining a lovely country field. :)

God bless you as you continue writing for Him ad I look forward to stopping by your place again!
