Oh Vicki! They are so cute. And I am LOVING your photography! You are a natural. :D
I've been trying to comment on your "Let Me Sink" post, but for some odd reason, it won't let me. But I want to tell you what a beautiful reminder it was to me. And I had to learn that lesson quite a few times these past months.
There was one day, when I was really tired and nauseous, and just so upset at the fact I could not get off the couch and do ANYTHING. And I just broke, and had my mom come over to sit with me. I told her I was feeling so awful, but felt so guilty about being discouraged. I felt like I was not having faith, and trusting in GOD. But she said, it is okay to crash. It is okay to cry. It is okay to feel discouraged when all around you is crashing down. So long as I didn't stay there, it was okay to cry it out. We need that some days. Being all chipper and happy all the time is DRAINING. And I believe GOD knows that about us.
As always, I am praying for you dear friend! Sending a hug you way!!! :D Angel
Okay. I just HAVE to share this with you. I went to Facebook, right after getting off your page and this was right at the top of my feed, and it fits perfect to what you said. :D
"Christ has taken hold of us! He is already working in us to perfect us and make us like Himself.
Jesus doesn’t expect our perfection. He doesn’t demand that we never falter or slow down, or never fall flat on our faces. He has already made up for our deficiencies. He only asks that we keep our eyes fixed on Him and our bodies running hard after the goal. And He Himself promises to hold us, especially when we lose our strength.
Like Paul, we have not yet attained our prize, but we can rest in the confidence that our God is working in us. So let’s faithfully run hard after the prize. Run hard after Jesus."
Thank you so much for posting a comment on my blog - I love to hear your thoughts and opinions. Remember, even if we don't agree on everything, you're still my friend; so please keep your thoughts polite and friendly. God bless you!
